How Makers of Magic was born...
Makers of Magic Collective was born from the most challenging season of my life. Last year, my then 3-year-old daughter was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia, a rare and aggressive childhood cancer. Suddenly, our lives changed completely. For nine long months, we lived in the hospital, with only a few precious days at home. In the isolation of that hospital room, I saw my daughter’s childhood and my motherhood flash before my eyes.
The simple joys I had once taken for granted—playing outside, sharing a meal at the table, or doing crafts together—became the things I longed for most. I realized how much beauty exists in the “little things” of everyday life, and how much those moments truly mean. I promised myself that if I ever had the chance to bring my daughter home, I would never again take those small, everyday moments for granted.
When we finally returned home, I found myself yearning to make every moment special. Not extravagant, just intentional—adding a little sparkle and magic to the everyday to create lasting memories. That’s where the idea for Makers of Magic Collective came to life: a way for mothers to embrace and celebrate the magic in motherhood and childhood together.
MOM Collective isn’t just a subscription membership; it’s a community. A movement of mothers coming together to make everyday moments magical using thoughtfully designed, easy-to-use printables. These printables take the guesswork and decision fatigue out of planning meaningful activities, so you can focus on what matters: playing, connecting, and making memories with your children. Simply print, play, and let the magic happen.
But my heart also knows the weight of motherhood during a child’s most difficult battles. That’s why Makers of Magic Collective will donate subscription boxes and memberships to families fighting childhood cancer, bringing love and light to children and their siblings during such challenging times. These families need support, and I hope our community can be a source of comfort, joy, and solidarity for moms walking that hard road.
